Aleksandra Lyapidevskaya is a Soviet and Russian film director.
Aleksandra was born in Moscow. She studied at the Korean department of the Institute of Oriental Studies. Graduated from VGIK, directing department.
Daughter of the first Hero of the Soviet Union, polar pilot Anatoliy Lyapidevskiy. He was awarded this title for saving the Chelyuskinites in 1934. Then the steamship 'Chelyuskin' crashed into the Bering Strait. Anatoliy Lyapidevskiy landed on an ice floe and saved 12 people.
Wife of Anatoliy Kuznetsov, known for his leading role in the legendary film White Sun of the Desert (1970). They lived together for 59 years.
